Trishuli Rafting
This river is not far from capitol Kathmandu and only takes two to three hours to get to the starting point. This has made it popular choice among rafters as they can come back to Kathmadu, go to Pokhara or other parts of the country. Even if you don’t have much time, it would not make any difference as you can raft in this river just for a day. Unlike other rafting trips, you can enjoy it the way you like it- be it one days, two days or three days.
Trip Itinerary
Day 01: We depart from Kathmandu by tourist bus or private transport and drive about three hours to get to Charaundi (Starting Point). Our experienced guides will assemble the boats and explain you about safety procedures.
During the day, we pass lots of rapids of 2-3 grades and enjoy the beauty of local villages and nature’s gifts. Around midday, lunch is served on the bank of river giving you an opportunity to feel the river and enjoy your lunch. After lunch we re-enter river to enjoy more powerful rapids and increased size and frequency. During the day you will also be able to traditional ways of catching fishes. The last rapid is near Jholungepul where you will see people cheering you for your daring trip. Later that evening, we stop at Kurintar for camping.
Day 02: On our second day we start our trip just after the breakfast. As we descend down, the river becomes plainer and rapids become bit smaller. But it will not stop you from having fun. You can also learn life-style of local people and watch beautiful birds and shoot them with your camera. Our trip comes to an end followed by lunch. After the trip drive back to Pokhara/Chitwan/Kathmadu.
