Arun River Rafting

If you have enjoyed the sea and the beach and want to feel the real drama of the Himalayan river then short trek and rafting in Arun river is all you need to do. This trip begins from Arun Valley with three days short but interesting trek. During this trip, almost everyday you will find high Himalayas welcoming you with their pearly white smile. On Arun River, you spend your day fighting with strong waves of water and you will dance your night away with our guide and their local music.

This trip begins from Tumlingtar and ends at Chatara. Some parts of the river are tranquil but other parts are bit adventurous and challenging.

Day 01 An hour's flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar gives you an opportunity to see bleu sky and beautiful mountains. We will set up our camp at Tumlingtar and spend our night there.

Day 02 After the breakfast, we will have short trek which will just take about two and half hours.We set up our camp here and our guides will go through lots of topics related to this trip.

Day 03 It will be pretty smooth. But we will face rapids of 3+.

Day 04 This is moment, I believe, you were eagerly waiting for. The rapids get bigger and much more challenging than previous day. As we cross bridge at Ranighat, we will be greeted by few tough rapids.

Day 05 Its not going to be roller coaster ride today. This is the day, we get to the point where Arun River merges with Sunkoshi River and create SaptaKoshi. After half an hour raft we come across a temple in Bara Chhetra. From here, its another half an hour boat ride and we reach at our put out point.

Day 06 Drive back to Kathmandu or you can go to pokhara if you want to do other activities.
